Group of people relaxing and chatting in a common room

The OxCIN Early Career Researcher (ECR) group is for researchers at the Oxford University Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (OxCIN), University of Oxford. We lead on skills development and training to support people at a pivotal point in their careers. We have run events on what happens behind the scene at a grants evaluation panel and how to nail your fellowship pitch.

Our aim is to support the community through interactive workshops and seminars, custom made to fit the needs of people at the OxCIN. We currently run termly sessions on a range of themes, and these usually take place during a OxCIN Wednesday slot, with some additional sessions facilitated at other times. All events are advertised in the Monday Message and via OxCIN Chat.

Our previous sessions have included career pathways, what happens behind the scene at a grants evaluation panel, and how to nail your fellowship pitch. See more details of our past events under ‘ECR Seminars’.

We are actively looking for researchers affiliated with the OxCIN to join the ECR group, so please get in touch with [email protected]  and [email protected] to get involved, and to shape the future events.
